Vendors will be (above all) happy to know that automation will become a more important pillar in and through 2017, with advanced technology that allows the automation of tasks previously exclusive to man. We have had robotic journalists in circulation for a couple of years and hopefully it will not be long before they make another leap toward more practical types of articles. We are likely to begin to see increased productivity in a number of "white collar" jobs and we will begin to see that some jobs disappear altogether. When automation is combined with automated learning, everything can improve even faster, so 2017 has the potential to be a truly historic year.
