Learning machine has taken some massive steps
forward in recent years, even emerging to help and improve Google's main search
engine algorithm. But again, we've only seen it in a limited range of
applications. Throughout 2017, I hope machine learning updates appear across
the board, entering almost any type of consumer application you can imagine,
from offering best-in-class products based on previous purchase history to
gradually improving the experience Of an analytic application. It will not be
long before automatic learning becomes a sort of "new normal", with
people expecting this kind of artificial intelligence as a component of every
form of technology.
