Humanized Big Data
Great
data has been a big topic for the past five years, when it started making
headlines as a buzz word. The idea is that massive amounts of compiled data,
which we now have access to, can help us in everything from planning better
medical treatments to executing better marketing campaigns. But the greater
strength of large data - its quantitative and numerical basis - is also a
weakness. In 2017, I hope to see progress in humanizing large data, seeking
more empathic and qualitative data and projecting it in a more visual and
accessible way.
